Each year, the Juneteenth Overland Park parade is a highlight of the day for all who attend! The Juneteenth Overland Park Parade strengthens community bonds, promotes cultural pride, and provides unique marketing opportunities for businesses while delivering joy and entertainment to attendees.
The Juneteenth Overland Park Planning Committee welcomes groups, performers, and organizations as parade entrants free of charge.

- Parades are excellent for promoting your local business, school, or community organization.
- This is a wonderful opportunity for high school marching bands, cheerleading squads, or other groups to incorporate brand new members while staying performance-ready during the summer.
- Local dance studios/teams, martial arts groups, or sports teams can attract new customers or sponsors by participating in the parade.
- 2026 presents a special opportunity to reach even larger audiences due to increased tourism for the World Cup!
HOW TO REGISTER
Complete the online registration form and you will be contacted with more details.
The deadline for entries is June 1.
Parade participants will be notified of the parade line-up by June 10.
